Grantmaking Impact
Through strategic Leadership Grants, funded by the Better Together Fund, the Community Foundation plays a key role in providing significant funding to projects that strengthen Greater Des Moines by addressing community trends and opportunities. Better Together Fund
The Better Together Fund presents an opportunity for all who love Greater Des Moines to invest in our community’s most pressing needs and promising opportunities. Think of it as the savings account for the future of our community. We can’t predict the future. But today, through the Better Together Fund, we can play a role in positioning our community for continued success.  

Through the Better Together Fund, the Community Foundation has provided key grant funding to community projects, serving needs that could not have been anticipated when the Community Foundation began its work over 50 years ago.
