Mission of the Appanoose County Community Fund:
The Appanoose County Community Fund was formed by AEDC in 2005 to coordinate and provide philanthropic support for community betterment projects in Appanoose County. The foundation is made up of community minded individuals who have the ability to assess community needs, implement asset development, evaluate area grant applications, encourage partnerships and initiate activities to enhance Appanoose County.

Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving Appanoose County. Grant selections are made in an effort to create a better quality of life for people in Appanoose County. The local governing committee reviews the applications from charitable organizations serving their community.
