Community Foundation in Business Record's 2021 Book of Lists

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines was recognized in the first-ever list of Top 25 Most Influential Nonprofits, which appears in the Business Record's 2021 Book of Lists. The online survey of Business Record readers, which was conducted in 2020, asked participants which nonprofit they believe is the most influential and asked them to pick nine other nonprofits that they also perceived to be influential.

Kristi Knous, Community Foundation president, again joined the annual list of the Top 25 Influential Leaders. Kristi is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy and a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning. Kristi is responsible for carrying out the Community Foundation mission, oversees its operations and provides leadership in identifying and addressing issues key to the sustainability, viability and livability of the community.
