Community Foundation Unveils New, Enhanced GIVEdsm

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines has launched a new iteration of GIVEdsm, an online charitable giving resource. Local nonprofits submit their funding needs to GIVEdsm.org and community members search current charitable opportunities and offer support to causes they care about. The reimagined website is an opportunity to give back to pressing needs and promising opportunities right here in the Greater Des Moines area.  

GIVEdsm has been streamlined with the Community Foundation website to realize efficiencies and enhance user experience. Current opportunities to give are color-coded to reflect general support, timely needs and capital campaigns at-a-glance, and projects can be sorted by area of interest. Additionally, there are now three ways to give, including creation of a donor profile login that tracks giving history for future reference on GIVEdsm, recommending grants directly to nonprofits through a Community Foundation Donor Advised Fund or simply, to participate as a guest.

Charitable nonprofit organizations with a project in Greater Des Moines can create a profile in GIVEdsm. The community can sort these opportunities by areas of interest, type of project or directly search for a specific nonprofit.
