Des Moines Public Charter School receives $50,000 grant from Community Foundation Leadership Circle

The Des Moines Public Charter School Foundation has received a $50,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines Leadership Circle. The Leadership Circle granted $200,000 in 2010 for start up costs including teacher training and curriculum development.
The second grant is based upon the success of the Des Moines Public Charter School in achieving its first year goals. It will help connect other funders to the school to leverage support and ensure the continued success of the Des Moines Public Charter School.
About the Community Foundation Leadership Circle
Leadership Circle donors have contributed to create a substantial endowment to support projects and causes that demonstrate long-term community impact and address the most critical needs in Greater Des Moines.
