Gordon Fischer to Join Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines

The Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Gordon Fischer will serve as Vice President of Gift Planning Strategies. In this new role, Fischer, who is a well-known Des Moines attorney, will work as an integral member of the Community Foundation's leadership and advancement teams providing information about strategic gift planning tools and techniques to donors and their professional advisors. Fischer will specialize in facilitating complex charitable gifts. Fischer will begin his new role July 1.
Fischer has practiced law at Bradshaw, Fowler, Proctor & Fairgrave, P.C. for the past seventeen years, the last eleven as a partner. As a community volunteer, he's gained extensive nonprofit leadership experience through board service and fundraising. He is excited about this opportunity to focus his legal and professional skills on community betterment.
