Project Description

Connect veterans to programs and services as they transition from the military to agriculture and local food production. Veterans will receive one on one assistance tailored to specific needs for them and their farming operation to ensure they thrive in agriculture in the Greater Des Moines area. This gift also assists those with service-connected disabilities, such as PTSD. Agriculture, Horticulture Therapy, gardening has shown to have positive affects for those suffering from these disabilities.
