Project Description

As Iowa’s premier “agri-cultural” museum, Living History Farms teaches guests about the significant role agriculture has played in the development of our nation. However, our current climate-controlled indoor space is inadequate to meet growing community demand for “off-season” programming and to house traveling exhibits that connect our historical offerings with contemporary farming practices and issues. Living History Farms must expand our capacity to meet population growth and Iowa’s tourism/economic development efforts. This campaign will transform Living History Farms from a seasonal attraction to a year-round destination.
