Catholic Charities has seen an unprecedented increase in demand at our Food Pantry. A year ago we were serving 500+ per day. Now we see upwards of 700 food insecure individuals daily. Our program serves all in need, regardless of background. Anyone can come to our Food Pantry and receive free food from our daily window. Those who qualify for services through DMARC and the Food Bank of Iowa can also receive a three-day supply of food. Additionally, we provide personal items, such as toilet paper, deodorant, toothpaste, pet food, and more, as available. Your support will allow us to provide daily rations to all who visit our facility, helping to manage the increase in demand in the Metro. Your financial support will also allow us to maintain a supply of highly-sought-after personal items to supplement the food our guests receive.
