Project Description

Help us equip and empower our scholars to build sustainable careers to strengthen our community and positively impact future generations. ***100% ***of your donation will fund post-secondary education opportunities for scholars in our community! Avenue Scholars partners with students to help them bridge the gap between high school and the business community.  We interview and select talented young people who have an interest and a desire to pursue a career in a high demand industry:  Skilled Trades/Manufacturing, IT, Business, Automotive/Transportation, and Health Sciences.  Once in our program, we provide an intensive support system so that students stay on track with their career goals - providing support for two years in high school and up to three years post-secondary until a student secures full time employment.  We don't operate as a training program; rather, we serve as a support system to channel students into our business community to ensure their success.
