Project Description

Help your State Historical Society of Iowa continue to offer a wide variety of learning opportunities for visitors of all ages. Through engaging programs, exhibits and other resources, the society provides access to countless historic objects, books, and records that tell the story of Iowa's history. The following programs and initiatives are just a small sampling of what your donation will support: Educational resources and programming for learners of all ages, including new Iowa History 101 webinars, Goldie's Kids Club programming, family camps, student workshops and Iowa History Book Club; Increased formal Iowa History educational offerings for K-12 students and educators including National History Day in Iowa, Primary Source Sets, Read Iowa History and Goldie’s History Kits; Unprecedented access to Iowa’s collection through the new online Iowa History Collections Catalog; and the continuation of our third 99-county tour for the Iowa History 101 mobile museum.
