At Girls Rock Des Moines (GR⚡️DSM), we believe that music isn’t just a sound — it’s a movement. Our Community Band After School Program is where youth in our community turn up the gain, amplify their creativity, and let their voices resonate in the Greater Des Moines music ecosystem.

This program cranks the volume on self-expression, collaboration, and confidence for young people from all backgrounds. It gives them the chance to form bands, write original music, and play on real stages — all while learning the skills to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.
