Dr. Adreain Henry and Ardis Kelley Join Community Foundation Board of Directors

The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its board of directors: Dr. Adreain Henry, President of Mercy College of Health Sciences, and Ardis Kelley, Chief Strategy Officer for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines.
Dr. Adreain Henry began serving as the fourth president of Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2022, having previously served as the Chief Academic Officer and Associate Provost for Hallmark University in San Antonio, Texas, where he also served as the Dean of Arts, Sciences, Graduate Studies, and Research. Dr. Henry is also a licensed optometrist who continues to see patients. His career spans leadership roles in higher education, healthcare, and the U.S. Army.
Ardis Kelley joined Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines as Chief Accounting Officer in 2012 and currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer focused on providing strategic leadership to support member-focused initiatives. In addition to Kelley’s role on the Finance Council for the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, she volunteers for several community organizations and is dedicated to engaging Greater Des Moines through arts, culture and wellness. Kelley’s board service has benefitted a number of nonprofits including Bravo Greater Des Moines, Des Moines Performing Arts, Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation, Greater Des Moines Partnership, Greater Des Moines Public Arts Foundation, and Obesity Awareness in Action.

The Community Foundation's Board of Directors is led by Franklin Codel (chair), Susan Fitzsimmons (vice chair), Gerry Neugent (secretary), and Steve Lacy (treasurer).
