Above + Beyond Cancer Optimal Living Program

Project Description

Above + Beyond Cancer provides evidence-based, free programs for cancer survivors which includes anyone from newly diagnosed to those anywhere on their cancer journey and their caregivers. There are more than 20+ free programs offered weekly in the greater Des Moines area. We are currently requesting support to maintain, enhance and grow the programs we offer to continue to meet the needs of those on their cancer journey. The free programs include classes such as yoga, meditation, cycling, personalized fitness plans, ballroom dancing, art classes, nutrition classes, urban pole walking, outdoor adventures, rowing, book club, and a cancer education series.
